President Hinckley was truly a prophet of God. I will miss him. It is comforting to know though that he is once again with his wife, whom he really missed. And think of the amazing work that he will continue to do!

I’ll remember the “B’s". I’ll remember how many temples he had built and how he started building the mini temples. I’ll remember when he prayed for the youth at the end of one of his talks. I’ll remember his optimism. I’ll remember his smile and him waving his cane. I’ll remember his words at the end of every General Conference telling us to be a little more kind. I’ll remember the story of the walnut tree that is now the podium in the Conference Center. I’ll remember the Spirit that would completely fill the room as he would enter. I’ll remember hearing his amazing testimony of the Savior - whom he served. I’ll remember how much he loved and missed his sweetheart and how much they loved and respected each other. I’ll remember him.
We had a great time getting together for what used to be our annual girls slumber party every New Years Day. I guess maybe we’ll start it back up again when we can make it happen. We went to Park City and stayed in a Condo. We had a lot of fun catching up, doing a little scrapbooking, remembering high school days, and staying up very late! It wasn’t quite like being Christmas Tree Elves, but pretty close! ![]()

Ok, so maybe I don’t really deserve the title of “software developer” because that would imply that I sort of know a little bit about computers. Well, call me crazy
, but I just realized that people have left comments on my blog! I’ve been wondering if anyone even looks at this, and I just discovered how I can view and publish the comments.
So, to everyone that left a comment, thanks, and I have now read them. Tausha, so fun to see what you are up to! Someday we’ll have to get together and catch up… It’s been a long time since Hawaii!! Cassie… I just found your blog tonight from a link on Bre’s blog and I was thinking that it would be fun to chat with you again, and then I see you had left a comment! Your little girl is adorble. Anyway, maybe I’ll have to translate this post into comments on other blogs, but I just had to write because I was excited.
So, thanks again fellow bloggers.![]()
It’s been a while, but I need to post some pictures of my latest travels. In November I was able to go visit Carrie and Holly and their families, and I got to meet my new nephew! Kyler is a cutie.

Halle and Grandpa… not sure what Grandpa is doing in this picture though.

One of the days in Colorado Springs, we went to a fun place called Pump It Up. They had a whole bunch of inflatable toys - bouncy rooms, obstacle courses and huge slides. It was a lot of fun, even for the big kids.
