Most of you know that I am not really a winter person. I just had to post a pretty spring flowers picture in honor of it being the first day of spring! Here comes the warmer weather …. hopefully.

What a day. I went to lunch with a few friends from work today. We like to go to this little sandwich shop downtown called Robins Nest (its yummy!). The restaurant is downtown, on main street and I was driving. So we parked a couple of blocks away where we could find parking and we went in to eat. Work has been pretty stressful lately so we took our time, we were probably in there for about an hour. On the way back to my car I started digging through my purse to find my keys. You gotta love big purses… keys can really get lost in there. I don’t usually lose my keys, so I figured they were buried in there somewhere. So we stopped and I took everything out and … no keys. I didn’t remember having them in the restaurant, so we decided to just keep going to the car and thought we’d probably find them locked in or something like that. When we got to the car one of the guys said, “its running"… and he climbed right in to the passenger seat! I had left my car unlocked and running for the whole hour while we were eating– downtown!! I was feeling pretty brilliant at this point. I think everyone at work had a pretty good laugh when that story got around. I’m just grateful that I still have a car, and an apartment (apartment key is on the same key ring). Since nothing bad happened, it is pretty funny… but I still wouldn’t recommend trying this.

This past Sunday we had our monthly family home evening with all of the families that live close by. I decided to take my camera and take a couple of pictures. I have to make up reasons to take pictures lately, or else I never have any! I personally think my nieces and nephews are pretty cute, so I can’t have too many pictures of them!
