April 25, 2008 was a great day. Let me tell you why….

First of all, for those of you that know me, you know that I have been waiting a long time to get a cat. Well, let me introduce you to TJ (Tommy Jr.) and Izzy (Isabelle).

TJ has a little bit more white and looks (and acts) a lot like another family pet, Tommy.

And Izzy is just adorable.

Anyway, they have been really fun. They definitely keep me company at my house with no internet or tv! And that is another reason why the 25th was a great day! I finally closed on my house. I am now a home owner. Kind of scary, but mostly just fabulous! Here’s some pictures of my house.

So, I closed on Friday, the 25th of April and then moved in the next day. A BIG thanks to my fabulous sister, Melinda, for coming to Utah to visit and helping me move and helping me find my kitties. And another BIG thanks to the other people that helped me move - Glen and family, Eric and family, and my parents, and my home teachers. THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!

Another reason the 25th was a great day is because some of my family went down to Thanksgiving point to enjoy the Tulip Festival. My Dad, Melinda and I rented segways to ride around on. It was a blast! I would highly recommend the adventure to anyone. Sisters trip for sure!!! Here’s some pictures from that fun time…

So, there’s a little update. I will try to post again soon. I just need to get Comcast in gear and get them out here to set up my internet!! grrr….
